DAY 01 : Temple City, Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, the capital of Orissa, is also popularly known as the "Temple City of India". Being the seat of Tribhubaneswar or ' Lord Lingaraj ', Bhubaneswar is an important Hindu pilgrimage centre. Hundreds of temples dot the landscape of the Old Town, which once boasted of more than 2000 temples. Bhubaneswar is the place where temple building activities of Orissan style flowered from its very inception to its fullest culmination extending over a period of more than one thousand years.

DAY 02 : Jaggant Dham, Puri

Jagannath Puri Dham or Jagannath Puri or even Puri as it is called, is situatedon the sea shore of the Bay of Bengal in the State of Orissa (India). It is one of thefour Holy Kshetras of India including temples at Rameshwaram, Dwaraka, Badrinath and Puri. The Annual Rathayatra festival is the high point of all the Festivals celebratedand has been attracting lakhs of devotees and pilgrims since time immemorial. To see the Lord on the Chariot on the Rathayatra day is to secure salvation from the cycles of birth and death.

DAY 03 : Sun Temple, Konark

Konark is one of the well known tourist attractions of Orissa. Konark, Konark houses a colossal temple dedicated to the Sun God. Even in its ruined state it is a magnificient temple reflecting the genius of the architects that envisioned and built it. Bhubaneshwar, Konark and Puri constitute the Golden triangle of Orissa, visited in large numbers by pilgrims and tourists.

DAY 04 : Samaleswari, Sambalpur

Samaleswari Temple is a Hindu temple in Western Orissa, India dedicated to the goddess known as MAA, also known among the natives as samalei maa, meaning Mother Samaleswari, the presiding deity of Sambalpur, is a strong religious force in western part of Orissa and Chhattisgarh state of India.

DAY 05 : Ghatagaon Tarini, Keonjhar

Ghatagaon, Keonjhar is in the midst of a wild forest. Tourists and pilgrims from all over worship Maa Tarini in the forests of Ghatagaon Keonjhar. A number of festivals takes place in Ghatagaon, Keonjhar at the holy temple of Maa Tarini. This is one of the important holy places in Keonjhar Orissa. Tuesday and Saturday is observed as the day of Maa.
